The work is in the rearranging.

My design process often looks a bit like an artist’s studio: ideas, feedback, questions and research spread out in front of me. I make a lot of things, move them around, pull them apart and put them back together until I can see a simpler way through a complicated problem.

I work closely with Product to understand the business problem before I start designing, then iterate from there. I soundboard ideas with colleagues, test with users when possible, and don’t mind starting over when a better solution emerges. For me, the right solution usually becomes clear when the unnecessary complexity starts to disappear.

I’m currently a Senior Product Designer at GM Financial, where I’m the sole designer supporting a new Fleet business and its dealer and customer-facing digital experiences. I also use AI as part of my practice to stay current with UX standards and explore ideas more quickly.

My background in visual design and commercial photography continues to influence how I approach composition, hierarchy and detail.

Take a look around.
