Project Goal

How might we design a website and a logo that showcases the company’s services while building trust and reflecting the brand’s personality?

Overall Design of the Website

The goal for the layout of this portfolio website is to…

  • Provide a flow of succinct information for the user (potential client) to understand the services offered

  • Demonstrate credibility by showcasing previous clients

  • Allow ability for Leeor to add information in the future without cluttering

  • Drive user to ultimately create contact with Leeor

The Homepage

Annotation of layout choices.

  1. Single-page vs. Menu: Research showed that some people use one page to showcase their brand summary, previous clients, services offered, and contact information, while others divide it into menu pages.

I chose to summarize the categorize on the homepage, but provide more detailed information on individual pages. This way a potential client can quickly get a sense of credibility and services offered, but then dive deeper.

Additionally, this gives Leeor a structure to add more information in the future without cluttering the homepage.

  2. Intro from Leeor: A quick, personalized message from Leeor with a soft CTA button to learn more about him. An arrow guides the user down to learn more overall. Next step: add in an updated photo of Leeor for this section.

  3. Clients = Credibility: I chose to highlight just a few of the bigger clients that Leeor works with to establish his credibility. The user can click on any of these to see the full list. There isn’t an obvious CTA for this because I want them to continue reading the services.

  4. What can be done: I want the potential client to see right away that the services they need are on offer, each with a one sentence summary.

  5. CTA; Down to Brass Tacks: Now that the potential client knows they’re in the right spot, we want them to take action by diving deeper; LEARN MORE, or get the ball rolling; LET’S CHAT.

Meet the personality behind the brand…

Clients need to know that the consulting company they’re hiring will not only do the job needed, but will be a professional—maybe even fun—experience. How we convey this…

  • Personable photo of Leeor

  • Easy to read text layout with welcoming copy

  • Clean design with a pop of color

Personality Pic

💼💼💼💼💼😀💼💼💼

It’s not business as usual with Leeor; there’s a real person who the client can have a normal conversation with.

Personable photo: Due to COVID-19 Leeor wasn’t able to get a new profile picture taken, but he provided one that truly represented his friendly persona. Next step is to refresh this photo with similar affability when things open up again.

Color for Charisma

⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️💛⚪️⚪️⚪️

A consulting website needs to be professional. A Leeor website needs to have character.

A pop of color was necessary. In speaking with Leeor, he liked having a soft yellow as a subtle way to represent his personality.

A colorful welcome: I used the soft yellow Leeor liked, along with bold text to grab the viewer’s attention right away. It lets them know that they’re working with an individual who is easy going. This is color is carried out in small ways throughout…
